I love my parents, but they generally have crappy taste in music. :P

Thank you so much for the award! They range from classical music, to musicals, to Alabama... My dad loved music from the 60s and 70s. He is a huge Pink Floyd fan. Of course we listened to old MoTown records all the time. When it comes to my mom, she taught dance so whatever we were dancing too was what we were listening to... it could be anything from An American in Paris to CATS! Good memories!

By the way... I have nominated your blog for a blogger award!! Head over to my blog (http://mid-centurypink.blogspot.com/) to check out the details!

xoxoMid Century Pinkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14121172283126858494noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5657761815457014400.post-47089346356431249752013-02-24T18:28:59.409-08:002013-02-24T18:28:59.409-08:00Sounds like you had cool parents!Sounds like you had cool parents!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04468783873431316217noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5657761815457014400.post-11696101301787528502013-02-23T13:26:04.475-08:002013-02-23T13:26:04.475-08:00So that is where they went.

My parents had a great record collection at the time, comprised mostly of 50s, 60s and 70s rock, Motown, and a smaller amount of jazz, as well as some current 80s (and then later 90s) tunes. From Led Zeppelin to the stones, Elvis, the Beatles, CCR, the Eagles, Michael Jackson, Blondie, you name it, I probably enjoyed listening to it as a child. To this day, classic rock still stands as my very favourite type of music, and I know it stems from those early days of my youth.

♥ Jessica Witchcrafted Lifehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02992822472797191121noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5657761815457014400.post-2799787811841525562013-02-22T19:39:37.512-08:002013-02-22T19:39:37.512-08:00But, your dad has such great taste in music. But, your dad has such great taste in music.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04468783873431316217noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5657761815457014400.post-13429040592875041072013-02-22T19:00:50.272-08:002013-02-22T19:00:50.272-08:00I listened to the oldies as a kid too, only for my...I listened to the oldies as a kid too, only for my parents...this irritated them :)Christinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17400671928040074621noreply@blogger.com
