I heard about a new bookstore opening. So, I decided to check it out after work. They were having their grand opening, and all kinds of interesting people were there. I didn't recognize any of the literature in the store. I picked up a book and sat down to look through it. Next to me was a gentleman with rather an unkempt hairdo. We started a conversation about literature. He chastised me for the crime novels I like to read. He said I needed to open my mind. As soon as I could, I left. I don't consider myself a dumb person, but this is an intellectual level way beyond me.
