Helen didn't come to work today. The office gossip is that she is pregnant and had to leave town. I can't imagine going through something like that. It must be awfully humiliating. One time of being indulgent and it ruins the rest of your life. Wow. I wonder who they will have take her place. I hope they promote Betty. It would be nice to have another friendly face in our group. I guess we'll find out soon enough.
